Additional savings are available to Australian residents for campervan and motorhome rentals through Getabout Oz for Britz and Maui vehicles.

The Maui See Australia rates are available to Australian residents only.

These rates are available to Australian residents only and have been created to support the Federal Government's See Australia domestic tourism initiative.

Rates for Australian Residents (05/06)
1st April 2005 - 31 March 2006

The minimum rental periods for Campervans are:
Minimum rental period 5 days; 7 days for one-way rentals.

* Campervan rates are charged on a calendar day basis.
* 4WD cars are charged on a 24 hour basis.

For example, if you pick-up your campervan on a Monday and return it the following Sunday this hire will be calculated as a 7 day rental. If you pick-up your 4WD Rental Car at 1pm on a Monday and return it prior to 1pm the following Monday this hire will be calculated as a 7 day rental.

To get quotes under this plan, you must be an Australian resident.

2) Complete the Enquiry Form so we can give you a quote.

Getabout Oz will prepare quotes for you, and will get back to you by email in a day or so.

AUSTRALIAN RESIDENCY
A strict qualification process applies and proof of residency (e.g.Australian drivers license or utility bill) will be required both at time of booking and upon collection of the vehicle.

If a See Australia booking is made by persons who are ineligible, Getabout Oz and Maui reserve the right to either cancel the booking or charge you the difference between the See Australia rates and standard (international) rates at the time of vehicle collection. See Australia rates are applicable only to campervans - not available for Rental Cars for which standard rates apply.

For See Australia, Travel in Oz and Maui Rentals offer seasonal pricing based on a 1 April - 31 March travel year.

If your intended travel dates cross two different rate periods your rental will be charged based on the number of days you incur in each period.

  • Vehicle Insurance (excess applies)
  • 10% GST

  • Vehicle registration surcharge
  • Pre-Hire Cleaning fees
  • 24hr nationwide road service helpline (tollfree)
  • Travel Wallet including Super Saver with discounts to Tourist Attractions

INCLUSIVE COMPONENT:
 The Inclusive component of AU$43 per day (maximum AU$2,150 per rental) is payable in addition to the daily exclusive rental rate.

Inclusions are:
 Excess Reduction Option (Nil excess)

  • Rates and Inclusive component are in Australian dollars
  • Rates and Inclusive component are subject to change without notice
